This Hotel is by far one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed at. Great views, exceptional staff, hospitality very good and location to everything was awesome. Maybe i have been spoilt at other hotels in the past. The pro's - The location is superb, could not actually be any better and that is clearly what you are paying for. Door staff very friendly as were the cleaning staff. Reception staff at check-in weren't very welcoming and/or helpful. Very much a process of give us the key, take the credit card pre-charge and left to it. We got 2 texts from the hotel to check how the stay was going but given we were international customers and were charged for incoming and outgoing texts, the system is poor!

The room was super quiet, with a beautiful view of the river. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was a fun atmosphere at the rooftop and indoor bars. Loved how close we were to all of the Michigan Avenue shopping and restaurants!

Of course Chicago is beautiful so everything was super nice. I had to call in to see if I could bump my reservations up and it was done without any issues. plus the staff was super understanding.

If you don't book this Hilton hotel directly through the hotel's webpage you can not check in online. So do not expect to get your favourite room. You can not even get 1 bottle of free water if you don`t book your room directly and give your Hilton member number. If you are a member but you booked your room through booking.com, your memebership means nothing.

The spa was lovely -- though you have to prepay, and watch out they add a 20% service charge. They did tell me they had done it and were very gracious about removing it. I then paid the treaters (massage, facial etc.,) directly.

Room was spacious, bed, bedsheets high quality, well designed. Location is great, you are on Magnificent Mile at the river! Opt for a river view room even it is more expensive. No breakfast. They give you vouchers for $20 for the first floor restaurant.

Located close to shopping, restaurants and park. The views from the room were beautiful. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Three great restaurants there at the hotel. The spa was amazing.
